Limited Edition models are our way of expanding our ukulele lineup. Limited models are built with the specs of one of our three regular models (Honu, Mano, Kohala Deluxe) serving as the foundation, but we substitute a key ingredient to create a completely different tone or look. Limited models are just that, limited. Each one is produced in very limited quantities, and as they sell out they will be replaced by new limited models throughout the year.
For this limited Kohala Deluxe Okoume series we are introducing figured okoume for the first time. Landing somewhere between mahogany and maple, both tonally and visually, expect the Limited Okoume Kohala Deluxe to provide a bit more volume and punchy, bright tone than our regular Acacia Kohala Deluxe models. As with all Honolua Ukuleles, it includes premium features designed to produce the best tone possible at an affordable price, including solid acacia top for greater volume and better tone, bone nut and saddle for better clarity and sustain, open back machine heads for tuning precision and eco-friendly wood selections.
The Kohala has all of the aesthetic upgrades of the Mano, including solid top, maple binding, gold tuners, and dual strap pins, but it’s built with striking, figured woods that are tonally rich instead of the more plain-looking mahogany. The okoume used on this limited edition provides a bright, punchy tone with tight sustain and plenty of volume.

Musical Instruments:
At our core we are a music store specializing in guitars, pianos/keys, drums & recording gear. We are a proud dealer for many top brands including: Fender, Ibanez, Orange & Blackstar.
Music Lessons:
A huge part of what makes Faders, Faders.. is our music school. We have 12 instructors on staff that teach all ages and skill levels in guitar, piano, drums and voice. Over the years we have taught hundreds & hundreds of students the joy of learning a musical instrument. Some of our former students have even become teachers at the store!
Vinyl Records:
A few years back we thought it would be cool to add new and used vinyl records to the store. It's been a huge hit! We also recently started bringing in rock band T-Shirts & other "lifestyle" type stuff.
Our goal has always been to be a comfortable place for music lovers to hangout, shop and/or learn how to play.
