In-Store Purchases 

7-Day Refund 

  • Items must be in new condition with all original packaging intact.
  • Refunds are subject to a 2.5% credit card processing fee (waived for debit, cash, or store credit).
  • No restocking fee if returned in perfect condition.
  • Store credit or exchange is always available as an alternative.

30-Day Exchange/Store Credit

  • Items must be in new condition with all packaging intact.
  • Store credit is issued via a Faders Gift Card for future use.

Original receipt required for all refunds & exchanges.


Online Purchases 

7-Day Refund

  • Items must be in new condition with all packaging intact.
  • Refunds are subject to a 2.5% payment processing fee (5% for PayPal/Affirm).
  • Processing fees are waived if refunded to store credit.
  • Email info@faders.ca to request a Return Authorization (RA) within 7 days of delivery.

Return Shipping Costs

  • A flat return shipping fee of $15 will be deducted from refunds
  • To avoid this fee, choose store credit instead of a refund.
  • If an item is defective or damaged on arrival, return shipping is on us.

Holiday Return Policy

Purchases made between November 1 and December 24 can be returned:
- For a refund until December 31
- For exchange or store credit until January 25


Special Cases

60-Day Refund – ToneWoodAmp

  • Must include all original packaging and parts.
  • Refunds are subject to a 2.5% payment processing fee (5% for PayPal/Affirm).
  • A $15 flat return shipping fee applies (waived if returned for store credit).

Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and quality reasons, certain items cannot be returned once opened:

  • Microphones, headphones, reeds, brass & woodwind instruments.
  • Strings, drumsticks, instrument polishes, USB audio interfaces.
  • Opened/unsealed vinyl records, books, and clearance items.
  • Large/long and/or heavy items may be subject to higher return shipping fees

Layaway & Special Orders

  • We can hold an in-stock item for 24 hours without a deposit.
  • A 25% deposit is required for longer holds or special orders.
  • Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to store credit (at our discretion).

Music Lessons 🎵

  • Unused lessons expire after 24 months.
  • Lessons are not refundable, but can be credited to a Faders Gift Card.
  • Lessons can be transferred to another student upon request.
  • Registration Fee not refundable or transferrable
