Founded in April 2007, Faders began as a small independent music shop offering retail sales, music lessons, and an in-house project recording studio — all driven by a deep love for music and a commitment to helping musicians find their sound.

We embraced the digital shift early, launching one of the first music e-commerce websites in 2008. In 2015, we expanded into the world of vinyl records and started carrying the ToneWoodAmp — quickly becoming a go-to spot for Canadian guitarists looking for this game-changing product.

In 2019, we completed a full store renovation, bringing in top-tier brands like Fender & Ibanez to meet the growing demand from our expanding customer base. Then in 2021, we strengthened our reach by acquiring Ted Good Music, helping us serve even more musicians across Canada with a wider range of instruments and expert advice.
