Payment Processing Service Fee

When you make a purchase with a credit card (in-person or online), the credit card processor charges us a percentage of the total as a processing fee.

Until a couple of years ago, they used to return that fee to the business when a refund was processed. They don’t anymore.. they keep it. :( We are no longer able to absorb these charges and have had to pass this fee to customers when an order is refunded on purchases made in-store or online with a credit card.

Thankfully we have a couple of ways around this (if you are shopping in the store):

1. You can pay with debit or cash. If you end up returning your purchase, the service fee will not apply.
2. You can choose a refund in the form of a gift card, the service fee will not apply.

All online refunds are subject to the 3.5% credit card processing fee.
