Northern Lights 1A – Repertoire

Northern Lights: An Exploration of Canadian Piano MusicLevel 1A is a collection of Grade One repertoire written by Canadians.

The 33 pieces were carefully selected to represent a wide variety of keys, metre, tempi and styles. They include jazz (Left Alone Boogie), Impressionistic (Raindrop Daydreams) and traditional (Musette).

The collection is a useful resource of repertoire for examination, performance, quick study, sight reading and recreational playing. In addition students enjoy each composer’s photo and biography.
