Northern Lights 2B – Musical Discoveries

Northern Lights: An Exploration of Canadian Piano Music Level 2B is a collection of Grade Two etude-like works written by Canadians.

The 29 pieces were carefully selected to represent a wide variety of keys, metre, tempi and styles. They include jazz (Boogie #1) Impressionistic (White Clouds, Blue Sky) and traditional (French Dance).

The collection is a useful resource of repertoire for examination, performance, quick study, sight reading and fun playing. In addition students enjoy each composer’s photo and biography.
