The zebra APH-2S Slash Signature Series Humbucker Set from Seymour Duncan offers the classic tone of Appetite for Destruction in a pickup. By using a custom mag wire and winding spec, combined with alnico 2 bar magnet, Seymour Duncan was able to recreate the familiar sustain, crunch, and midrange that was so characteristic of the tone of Slash's original Derrig Les Paul copy.

These pickups were originally designed in the '80s and voiced for use as the stock pickups in his signature model Gibson Les Paul, intending to give the stock guitars that same kind of magical tone.

The APH-2S pickups utilize alnico 2 bar magnets, nickel-silver bottom plates with long mounting legs, single-conductor braided lead wires, maple spacers, paper tape, and wax potting.
