Vintage 1950s Avedis Zildjian 22" Ride Cymbal – 2794g – Turkish Stamp Era

This is a mid-1950s Avedis Zildjian 22" ride cymbal — an exceptional piece from the “Genuine Turkish Cymbal” era, made in the USA after Zildjian’s move to Quincy, Massachusetts. It features the classic "C2" stamp associated with 1954–1959 production.

• Weight: 2794g

• Condition: Very good for its age — no cracks or keyholing. One small section of surface wear (see photos), but overall structurally sound with a naturally aged patina.

• Sound: Complex, dark, and buttery with excellent stick definition and a smokey wash. Perfect for jazz, fusion, and dynamic live or studio use.

These old Avedis rides have a character and history you can’t replicate — and this one is a beauty. A fantastic addition to any vintage cymbal collection or pro player’s setup.
